I love my work with PhD candidates and Doctoral Training Programmes (DTP). My work with the Open-Oxford-Cambridge AHRC DTP is no exception. Their students are inquisitive, compassionate, and generous with their vulnerability, questions, and experiences. I truly love the work we do together!
Lou has delivered a fantastic set of Allyship workshops for the Open-Oxford-Cambridge AHRC DTP, as part of our annual training programme. Each session has been tailored to a different context, and our doctoral students were able to sign up for the full course or attend single workshops on a drop-in basis. Feedback from students has been excellent, and Lou has been exceptional to work with – extremely knowledgeable, professional and supportive. Lou is highly skilled at creating welcoming, safe and open online spaces within which important topics are discussed, and she handles such discussions with a deep sense of empathy and compassion. I would recommend Lou’s training unreservedly, and look forward to working with her in future.
