As an Existential coach, we will work together on accessing the full you. We will co-create the focus and experience of our sessions. Depending on what comes up, I will have access to a range of reflective, developmental, psychotherapeutic, and experiential tools to help you gain deeper insight and resources into the focus of our coaching.
You can see some suggestions on how we might work together. If you have any questions, please ask!
Before making any commitment, I insist on a one-hour Chemistry call. This will help us explore how we might best work with one another – on me!
How Does It Work?
- Coaching sessions are typically one hour long. I recommend allocating 15-30 minutes after the session to process, reflect or have a break before returning to your day.
- Sessions are delivered online or over the phone.
- The standard coaching fee is £100 per one-hour session.
- As part of my commitment to making coaching more accessible, I commit several hours a month to delivering coaching for people from a historically marginalised community. To find out more, please get in touch.
Bringing Your Whole Self
Recognise and reorganise the complex human that is you.
We are often in conflict, either with others or within ourselves. In our session, we would use curiosity, compassion, and courage to help you identify and recognise the different voices influencing your actions and inactions. We will work on being aware of and working with them rather than trying to ignore them. This could help you feel and act that bit better as a fuller, more authentic you. This is particularly helpful if you are:
- feeling stuck or less like yourself
- embarking on a period of change or transition
- feeling overwhelmed by your responsibilities
- unsure about a ‘goal’ but feel like coaching might benefit you
Working It Out
Cultivate and nurture a leadership style that works for you
The idea that leaders should look and behave a certain way changes over time. As liberating as this is, it means deciding what type of manager or leader is down to you. In our work together, we will identify your natural skills and strengths to develop into a leader that feels like the adultiest version of the true you. We will also explore how to overcome the challenges that leadership responsibilities bring. This is particularly helpful if you are:
- looking or starting your first leadership position
- experiencing imposter syndrome, those feelings that you may have taken on too much responsibility too soon and that someone may ‘find out you are a fraud’
- already in a leadership role and looking for personal rather than technical support
- looking to have a healthier relationship with your work
Working Towards Social Justice
Develop and reflect on your allyship journey.
It can be hard to know what to do when being an ally. In a world with a huge political divide, historical collective harm, ever-evolving language, and conflicting expectations on how to treat one another, it can feel easier and safer to not say or do anything at all. Our work together will explore who you are, what resources you can access, and where you can exert your power and influence to promote equity and equality in a way that is authentic and sustainable to you. This is particularly helpful if you are:
- in a role of leadership or authority
- invested in promoting social change for all and intersecting communities
- looking for accountability as an ally
- looking to feel more informed and confident as an ally and/ or in an EDI (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) role.
Lou became a key aspect when starting my new role. She helped me build up my confidence not only in a work capacity, but also within myself. She helped me to realise what my leadership style was and how I can utilise my skills to be a better leader.
