I provided one-to-one coaching for Anna in 2023. Anna was elected to Nottingham Trent Students’ Union after a year as the Postgraduate Officer. I had the absolute pleasure of working with her on a leadership style that was authentic to her and congruent with her values. She has a bright future ahead of her, and it has been an honour to play a small part in her story.
Lou became a key aspect when starting my new role. She helped me build up my confidence not only in a work capacity but also within myself. She helped me to realise what my leadership style was and how I could utilise my skills to be a better leader. Lou helped me realise that sticking to my values and trusting my intuition is okay and will help me stay motivated and be proud of the work I have done. Her tips on effectively getting work done, embracing anxieties and learning from how others perceive me will stick with me for a very long time throughout my career.
